We chose the Sand Castle for our wonderful family event…our daughter’s wedding. The ceremony and reception was actually held ½ mile up the beach at The Reef Restaurant. However, the rehearsal dinner was held at the beach house. We had 12 people stay at the house and many guests that visited. Everyone loved the house. It provided us with everything we could think of; with the exception of food and personal items. The kitchen is stocked with your everyday essentials and more. All the appliances were in working condition. The beds were comfy and the house has a wonderful sound barrier. Though, when it was cool out the second floor back door was left open to let in the sounds of the ocean. It was a truly wonderful experience for the entire family. The Sand Castle brought our family together for an entire week of quality time and needed tranquility. It was very difficult to leave. Anonymous

We had 11 adults in this beautiful house. It was the perfect house that afforded us the togetherness we desired, along with the privacy we needed. The well appointed kitchen made it easy to cook for a crowd, with a full spice rack, pots, pans, plates, and utensils! There was an ample supply of towels and the linens were very nice. There were enough beach chairs for everyone to sit on the beach and the deck was perfect for sipping coffee at sunrise. Every bedroom had a TV and the second floor sound system was great. We spent Thanksgiving week at Sand Castle. The house had everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. It was great walking off the deck on to the beach. We had a minor problem which was quickly resolved by Wren Realty and the property manager. Comfortable house-great place to stay. The only problem we had was leaving. Very convenient to restaurants, stores,attractions etc. in St. Augustine. Anonymous
My family of 4 and my best friends family of 8 stayed at the Sand Castle for a summer get away. The house was perfect! The kitchen was very well equipped. Everyone had their privacy and the beach was really close. The teenagers really loved the pool table area. The A/C worked good which was a positive because we have stayed at homes in the past where the A/C did not work properly. The weather was extremely hot the week we stayed but the water was cool!! We just spent 5 wonderful days at Sand Castle and loved every minute. We were in Florida for my daughter’s graduation from Jacksonville University and rented the house for ourselves, grandparents, assorted family and friends. The house layout is great with plenty of room and space for privacy when needed. The pool table and game room were a big hit in the evenings and the huge deck with sitting area by the water is fabulous. The home is very well stocked with linens, cooking utensils and all other necessities to make this property a “home” while you are there. The people at Wren Beach Rentals were great to work with and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this property for big groups wanting to be on the ocean! R J Carfagno, Pennsylvania
The Sand Castle was wonderful. We had 8 adults and 1 small child for a week in October. The weather was still around 90 and the water was warm. We even saw a few dolphins riding the waves a couple nights that week. The house was well equipped with nice living space for that size of group. The beach was private with only other owners on the beach. The closest public beach was too far away for them to walk to this beach. The city of St Augustine was a short drive of 5-10 minutes with many attractions and restaurants to enjoy. I highly recommend this house. Scott, Bloomington, IL
