About Judy

Judy is a retired university professor and mental health therapist who has always had a strong interest in houses, building, architecture and design. In 1986 she bought Sandpiper's Nest, a new 2 bedroom, 2 bath home. In order to help pay the mortgage, Judy started renting the house to vacationers, advertising in newspapers. Interest grew and several years later, Judy and Bill Wren renovated the cottage, adding a bedroom and another bath. They followed this by purchasing two more oceanfront homes. By this time, the Internet had changed advertising strategies and renters began arriving from throughout the United States, Europe, and South America. Other property owners starting asking Judy to manage their properties. Today, Judy actively manages properties and focuses on Internet advertising and marketing.

About David

David is Judy's son and grew up vacationing at Sandpiper's Nest (and sometimes helping to ready it for renters). He inherited his mother's interest in houses and early on became a licensed Realtor and later, a property appraiser. In 1996, he joined Wren Beach Rentals as the real estate broker and quickly added 7 houses to the portfolio. David's outgoing personality and attention to owner and renter needs has resulted in many repeat renters and an increasing number of clients. David is carefully growing the business to a point that we believe is maximally beneficial to owners, renters, and Wren Beach Rentals. With a balance in the type and character of vacation homes, the focus of our business will continue to remain on detailed knowledge of the properties, professional services to owners, and personal attention to potential and actual renters.
